Security at mycareerwall

Your knowledge base is your career. We treat it that way — with encryption, least-privilege access, and privacy controls that stay in your hands.

Encryption everywhere

All traffic to and from mycareerwall is encrypted in transit with TLS. Your data is encrypted at rest with AES-256. That applies to your knowledge base, your documents and any files you upload.

Infrastructure

mycareerwall runs on Amazon Web Services. Each part of the system runs under its own least-privilege role, so a component can only ever touch the data it genuinely needs — never your whole account. Environments are isolated, and we follow the principle of least privilege throughout.

Your data, on request

You can export everything we hold about you as a single file, at any time, from your account. You can also delete your account outright — a genuine erasure, not a deactivation. Deletion is deliberately hard to do by accident: you have to type your own username to confirm it. Once it runs, your sessions are invalidated and your data is removed.

Privacy you control

Coverage controls let you decide, section by section, what your public profile and the recruiter chat can use. Anything you keep private is never shown and never answered. We don’t sell your data, and your private knowledge base is never exposed publicly.

Authentication

Sign-in is handled by a managed identity provider with secure, short-lived tokens. We never store your password ourselves. You can sign in with an email and password, with Google, or passwordlessly with a passkey — and you can add two-factor authentication from any authenticator app, with a QR code to scan and a recovery secret to keep. Security-alert notifications are always on and cannot be switched off.

AI you can trust

The recruiter chat only ever answers from your knowledge base and cites its sources — it doesn’t invent facts about you, and it respects your coverage settings on every reply.
