Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can remember things between visits. Here’s exactly how — and why — mycareerwall uses them.
Essential cookies
These keep the product working. They remember that you’re signed in, keep your session secure, and store basic preferences like light or dark mode. The site can’t function properly without them, so they’re always on.
Analytics
With your consent we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to count visits, see which pages and features are used, and understand where people get stuck. It stores one random identifier in your browser; we never link it to your name or email. On a handful of flows — the pricing page, signing up, upgrading — a small share of sessions is kept as a masked screen replay in which every input and every word is blanked out. You choose on the banner, and you can change your mind any time with the “Analytics” toggle in the footer or in your account’s Privacy settings.
Support chat
If you open the live chat, our chat provider may set a cookie so a conversation can continue across page loads. It only loads when you use the chat.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may sign you out or break parts of the app; blocking analytics won’t affect how mycareerwall works for you.
